From London/The South

Take the M4 towards South Wales and continue onto the Severn Bridge. After crossing, you must pay the bridge toll of £6.50p (This is just to get into Wales, coming back into England is free!)

Continue on the M4 until junction 24. Exit the motorway here and take the A449 towards Monmouth. Continue on for approximately 13 miles.

Then take the exit for A40 Abergavenny. Keep following the signs past Raglan Castle and the roundabout. After approximately 8 miles, you'll reach a one-way road section before a roundabout. At the roundabout take the exit signposted A465 Merthyr Tydfil. Continue on for about a mile before taking the exit signposted Abergavenny A4143/Blaenavon. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit signposted Brecon/Abergavenny A4143. You will pass several more roundabouts, keep following signs for Abergavenny/Brecon A4143. The final roundabout you'll use will have a signpost for Brecon A40. Take this exit and eventually pass Nevill Hall Hospital on your left-hand side. Continue on A40 for approximately 7 miles.

You'll eventually reach the town of Crickhowell. Pass through here and continue on for a further 2-3 miles.

Then you will come across a pink building on your right-hand side which is the Cider Mill Inn. Adjacent to this is a right turn, signposted A479 towards Builth Wells. Take this turning and you will be on a mountain road for roughly 13 miles.

Keep following the signs for the A479 towards Builth Wells. You will pass through the towns of Talgarth and Bronllys. Shortly after Bronllys, take the left turn, again signposted for A479 Builth Wells. Continue on for about 4 miles.

Once you reach the town of Llyswen, continue on for another mile and Llangoed Hall will be on the right-hand side. The entrance to the hall is signposted on the road.
